Suzhou
Kowloon Hospital (Phase II)
The second phase of Suzhou Jiulong Hospital strives to design with the goal of simplicity and efficiency, reasonable layout, safety and hygiene, and optimized procedures based on the current situation without affecting the existing medical procedures and use functions. The design fully takes into account the needs of space layout, functional zoning, people flow, new and old connections, informatization, and modernization.
The overall planning and design of the first phase has reserved a development path for the second phase. The second phase design combines the relationship between the medical process and functional blocks of the first phase to form an overall layout pattern, and connects the old and the new through the circular corridor. While expanding the area of various functions in situ, it does not interfere with the use of the original functions, and can effectively connect with the new area. The overall medical plan is based on the integrated service functions of the first phase. In the second phase, four specialized centers will be established to form an overall 1,200-bed area. A combination of multi-specialty centers with a comprehensive medical technology platform as the core.
