Gemdale Viseen Tower
Shenzhen Gemdale Viseen Tower is located in Shenzhen Science Park, the gathering place of high-tech enterprise headquarters in South Silicon Valley of China. It is a cover work of Dawan District with superior geographical location and star enterprises. Its modeling inspiration comes from the concept of Plug in City of the School of Architectural Telecommunications - the use of modular architectural techniques to better adapt to people's needs. Its spirit of innovation, people-oriented, flexible, and connectivity coincides with the vision of the Science Park.
Zhubo Design has provided full professional team support in the late stage from the aspects of architecture, structure, HVAC, water supply and drainage, electrical, etc. In order to enhance the feasibility of the project, on the basis of the original design scheme, we comprehensively sorted out and optimized the layout of the tower core tube scheme, the podium commercial layout and the facade louver form, and comprehensively optimized the basement design scheme. Both towers adopt a "frame core tube" structural system. The height of the tower structure exceeds the maximum applicable height of the frame core tube structure, and the scheme has such elements as large overhang, conjoined structure, torsional irregularity, sudden change of bearing capacity, etc. In order to ensure the project landing, the Zhubo structure team carried out a series of calculations such as small and medium earthquake analysis, large earthquake dynamic elastic-plastic analysis, and took corresponding seismic strengthening measures to meet the seismic performance target requirements of the conjoined storey shaped steel cantilever truss and the conjoined out of gauge structure with the south tower exceeding the height of Grade B.
